Mila Boyanova is a lawyer with a strong background in managing non-profit projects across Bulgaria, varying from human rights, civil society and education to the arts and cultural tourism. Recently, her focus has shifted to cultural initiatives, where she has gained extensive expertise in managing projects in classical music, museums and galleries, as well as educational programmes in the arts. Mila has worked with renowned organisations such as the America for Bulgaria Foundation, Fortissimo, EasyArt Foundation, Sofia Philharmonic, and the Allegra Foundation.
Mila has long-lasting interest in the history and architecture of Sofia and is an advocate for the preservation of cultural monuments in her city. Ms. Boyanova holds a Master’s degree in Law from Sofia University and further specialisation in project management and evaluation in the NGO sector.
