Assoc. Prof. Dimitar Bojkov, PhD, is a lecturer at the Department of "History of Philosophy" at Sofia University. He is a professor of Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of St. Kliment Ohridski University.
His interests are in the history of ideas of the 19th and 20th centuries, but also the history and philosophy of fine and decorative arts. He is the author of the books History and Emancipation, Clio in the Passages of the Big City and Marxism in Messianism, as well as numerous articles on the history of philosophy, contemporary and classical art, the performing arts, etc.
Over the years, together with Boris Delchev have held various public discussions and conversations about the decorative arts and crafts.
He graduated from St. Kliment Ohridski University with a degree in philosophy and then defended his dissertation in the Department of History of Philosophy. Since 2013 he has been a professor at the Department of Philosophy of Philosophy. In 2013, he was a senior assistant professor in the department and then in 2022 an associate professor.
