Arts and crafts days in the French institute in Sofia, Bulgaria

One of the first events in which the Novetus foundation was involved was together with the French institute in Sofia, Bulgaria. Together, we planned and organized a two-day conference as part of the French institute progamme “Arts and crafts days”. This event was focused on work with textiles and paper. At this occasion, the director of “Cité de la Tapisserie d’Aubusson”, France who was among the guest, had the opportunity to meet restorers of the National Gallery of Bulgaria who were currently working on historical French tapestries. The conference was the opportunity to bring together guests from France and Bulgaria, museum conservators, artists, manufacturers and professors. Novetus aims to create more meetings of this kind and build a strong network of professionals.
